One of the lesser known Middle Eastern airlines is Gulf Air. Unlike fellow Gulf carriers Etihad, Emirates and Qatar Airways, the Bahrain-based airline is not attempting to link the world up, preferring instead to concentrate on medium-range destinations.
Gulf Air’s India flight sale
Gulf Air can have some incredible flight sale deals available, however, and passengers prepared to factor in a layover in Bahrain can currently fly to five Indian cities for astonishingly cheap deals.
Mumbai flight sale prices
The cheapest Gulf Air flight sale deals are on flights from London Heathrow airport to Mumbai. Prices start at just £324 for a return ticket in economy class.
Flight sale deals to Delhi and Chennai
Other great prices are available on flights to other Indian cities. Returns to Delhi start at £333 and it costs from £341 to fly to Chennai via Bahrain.
Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram flight sales
The other two Indian cities included in the Gulf Air sale are a little more expensive to get to, but the prices are still pretty good. Expect to pay £425 return to get to Kochi or Thiruvananthapuram.

And now to the catch – to get these flight deals, you need to book by tomorrow (31 January 2010). Outbound flights can be taken up until 30 June 2010 and there are blackout periods from 20 March – 3 April 2010 (outbound) and 4-18 Apr 2010 (inbound).
