Guide to finding the best flight prices in the 2010 British Airways sale. The best deals are for the Middle East, USA and Africa.
British Airways flight sale 2010
British Airways has just announced a worldwide sale on flights from London Heathrow, and it has got some members of the travel community really excited. To be truthful, however, there aren’t any knock-out deals to be found in it – let’s face it, no-one’s going to be leaping to take a £733 return to Cape Town.
London to Muscat sale fares
However, there is the odd decent price amongst the disappointment. £338 return to Muscat in Oman, for departures between 02 September 2010 and 31 October 2010, is OK – but it is on a par with prices findable with other airlines.
Sale flights | London to Philadelphia
£354 to New York is nothing to jump around about, but flights to Philadelphia tend to be harder to find. And thus £369 return between 20 September 2010 and 31 October 2010 is a fairly reasonable deal.
Sale flights | UK to Ghana
Perhaps the best price in the British Airways sale, however, is on flights to Accra in Ghana. You’d be doing well to find better than £449 return with another airline, so if you’re planning to travel to Ghana between 02 September 2010 and 31 October 2010, this might be the deal to go for.
Remember that sale prices aren’t always the best prices – and it’s always worth checking with comparison sites such as Cheapflights or Skyscanner.
